Today, Manchester United have tabled half of the value as reported by Fabrizio Romano but the bid has been rejected by Chelsea.

MySportDab understand Manchester United are leading contenders to sign Mason Mount this summer.

Mason Mount has only one year remaining in his Chelsea contract and will leave after next season as a free agent.

Mount has been at loggerheads with Chelsea over a new contract proposal that has not met his demand.

The England star want a significant pay rise up to £250,000 weekly before he could sign a new deal win the club.

Chelsea have offered him a one-year contract extension proposal after which a new deal with an improved offer could be made but Mount has rejected the offer.
