Manchester United has been in for Barcelona Frenkie de Jong who could be making a decision soon, MySportDab reports.

Frenkie de Jong once worked with Erik Ten Hag during a stint with Ajax which saw them almost going through to win the UEFA Champions League title.

The midfielder is currently tied to a contract with Barcelona and has no intention of allowing him to leave this summer window.

Although they could be listening to offers that are good enough to make a move happen as interests are still pouring in for possible talks this summer.

Manchester United have remained focused on making the move happen which is proving too difficult for them to see through as the new manager already placed the call.

It won’t be an easy move as Barcelona will be looking to get at least €70 million or more for his sale if anything is looking to happen.

Although from the way things are going, it seems the English Premier League side might be set for another disappointment for a move.

Frenkie de Jong is ready to snub any interest shown in him from Manchester United as he wants to stay at Barcelona, according to claims from Cadena Ser.

The Netherlands international midfielder is said to have no interest in making a move to Old Trafford this summer or anytime soon.

Despite such a switch over the summer allowing him to be reunited in England with former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.

He will be looking to pass out on the opportunity to make the move work as he wants to remain with Barcelona who will be playing Champions League next season.

Erik Ten Hag will be resuming his job as Manchester United manager once the season comes to an end and they are already lining up possible transfers.
