English Premier League Restart Date CONFIRMED, Manchester City Vs Arsenal First Game (Full Fixtures)

The English Premier League will now fully return on Wednesday, June 17 and Manchester City will Kick-off the restart against Arsenal, MySportDab reports. 

Sheffield United will play Aston Villa and Manchester City host Arsenal at the Ethiad stadium.

According to Sky Sports, The first full round of matches will be played on Friday, June 19 and over the weekend.

After the first week of matches, the remaining nine game weeks will follow.

The Premier League plans to complete the season  in August so the English FA Cup final can be played the next Saturday.

UEFA are now planning to finish the Europa League and Champions League competitions in August.

No Football games have been played in the UK since March but footballers have returned to training in recent weeks.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to address the nation tonight where he will further ease lockdown measures.

When will the Premier League return?

The Premier League season will officially restart on Wednesday, June 17.

The season will resume with clubs who have a game in hand like Manchester City, Arsenal and co.
