Chelsea forward score a hat trick as USA thrashed Panama 5-1 in the qualifications for World Cup, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the game was filled with so many goals scored by the home side who were going none-stop.
Panama had things going well in the early minutes which didn’t see anything going in from both of them who created a few amount of opportunities in attacking.
USA opened the goalscoring in the 17th minute as Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic scored a stunner which made the scoreline 1-0 after a foul resulting to it being awarded.
More opportunities came as the Americans doubled the advantage in the 23rd minute of the game through a good finish from Paul Arriola which made it 2-0 going forward.
Jesus Ferreira added another one which saw him putting the ball past the goalkeeper after an incredible teamwork saw him making the scoreline 3-0 in the 27th minute as things carried on forward.
The game entered the last few minutes left to be played as Christian Pulisic made it 4-0 and his brace for the game in the 45th minute plus additional time from the penalty spot.
The first half ended with USA 5-1 Panama as they both headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football played between them.
Second Half Report
The second half was brilliant as the Americans slowly completed the job they needed to do in the World Cup qualifications match.
It was more of the USA team who continued looking better than their opponent as Christian Pulisic made things 5-0 in the 65th minute of the second half.
An 86th minute goal from Anibal Godoy gave Panama a consolation as the scoreline turned 5-1 after an error from the home side saw them conceding one goal.
The game stretched on and end with USA 5-1 Panama as the United States claimed the maximum points to keep their qualifying hopes alive for the last game coming up.
