Ferran Torres scored for Barcelona as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Napoli, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was evenly balanced despite how the result looked after the end of 45 minutes played between both teams.
Barcelona were calm as the game carried on with them doing everything possible to make sure they get an early lead which failed to happen for them despite all efforts.
It was the same for Napoli who were also pushing for the opener which failed to come through as their opponent had some good defensive work keeping them out.
The goal finally came in the 29th minute from Piotr Zielinski who finished off brilliantly to make things 0-1 for the visitors who ensured their opportunity counted for something as they carried on.
More opportunities coming through in the first half of the encounter which was unable to change things despite how close they came scoring.
The first half ended with Barcelona 0-1 Napoli as they both headed inside for the break leaving the away side with a narrow advantage after 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half started with both teams kicking off from where they left things in the first 45 minutes which wasn’t favorable to the two side.
Napoli held on to their lead firmly while the pressure was so much on them against a side who looked better than they were in the first half of the encounter going forward.
Barcelona were able to come back level in the 59th minute of the second half through a goal from Ferran Torres to make it 1-1 after converting from the penalty spot.
Thing carried on and came to an end with Barcelona 1-1 Napoli which saw both teams settling for a draw in the first leg of the encounter waiting for the return clash to happen.
