Man City finally dropped points after playing a 1-1 draw against Southampton, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was good coming from both teams pushing forward but only one side could make something happen for themselves after a perfect 45 minutes.
Southampton started the game badly which saw them struggling to handle things with so much pressure which they did managed to hold back and stopped their opponent from scoring.
But they shockingly took an early lead in the 7th minutes against their opponent which saw Kyle Walker-Peters netting a stunner to make the scoreline 1-0.
It was looking good for Man City who carried on dominating things searching for an early lead which didn’t happen for them as it progressed.
More opportunities being created but nothing seems to be happening as both teams carried on with wasted chances and nothing to change how the scoreline looked.
The first half of the encounter ended with Southampton 1-0 Man City as they both headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football.
Second Half Report
The second half was good just like it was in the first 45 minutes of the match which saw goal being scored in the game moving forward.
Southampton continued looking good with the advantage on their side as they started the second half struggling to keep things in control against a side who were pressing them.
Man City leveled things in the 65th minute of the second half after a powerful finishing from Aymeric Laporte hit the back of the net making the scoreline 1-1 as it carried on.
Things carried on with nothing happening despite all the amount of opportunities created going forward in a game which was fast becoming a bad one for Pep Guardiola.
The encounter finally ended with Southampton 1-1 Man City as the Blue side of Manchester drop two points after going on a winning streak.
