This campaign has been fair enough for the defender who have managed to pin down some game time after deciding to remain with them.

Diogo Dalot spent last season on loan with AC Milan where he did well but unfortunately a deal couldn’t be reach for a permanent stay.

He is now being eyed for a possible move elsewhere this January which could be a possibility pending the interested club make an offer.

Atletico Madrid have identified Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot as a transfer target, according to reports coming from AS.

The Liga champions are looking at the Portugal international as a potential replacement for Kieran Trippier following his move to Newcastle United this January.

Diogo Dalot is not the only man on Atletico’s radar, though, with RB Leipzig’s Rasmus Christensen and Valencia’s Daniel Wass also under consideration.

A move could happen but it will have to see Atletico Madrid push for it as they need to find a replacement for their out gone defender.

Nothing yet has been confirmed between both parties but the interest is there and something is expected to happen before the January window come to a close.

Diogo Dalot has put up an impressive display this season which have seen him overtake Aaron Wan Bissaka at the wing back position that has been his in a couple of games.

Manchester United are also looking at the possibility of keeping all their players with many already looking to make a move elsewhere this January.
