Sadio Mane and Naby Keita failed to score as Senegal played a 0-0 goalless draw against Guinea in the AFCON 2022, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both Africa Nations kicked off the first half with so much pace going forward as they looked to book their ticket into the next round after winning their first game respectively.
Guinea had so much work to do as in the early minutes of the encounter which saw their opponent dominating things while going forward.
Things were looking good for Senegal but they couldn’t make it count with so much opportunities being created by the players on the pitch who failed to capitalize on any of them as it carried on.
It was more boring as the match entered the last few minutes left which no goal was scored despite everything done from both ends to get a goal, it was all for nothing.
The first half of the encounter ended with Senegal 0-0 Guinea as they both went inside for the break after a bad 45 minutes of football with a goal.
Second Half Report
The second half was more of the same like the first 45 minutes in which was a hard fought encounter failing to provide much action to the fans.
Senegal continued to push forward but looked very poor when they get close to scoring which always get swept away by their opponent before they reach the goalkeeper.
Guinea gained control of the ball possession which saw them doing more of the playing against a side who have Sadio Mane on the pitch causing so much trouble.
Nothing could separate them with the time hitting the 80 minutes mark leaving 10 remaining to be played as tempers were already flaring up with the scoreline still 0-0.
The match ended with Senegal playing a 0-0 goalless draw against Guinea as they both shared one points each heading into the last game of the group stages.
