Here Is What He Told Calciomercato:

“It’s hard to name just one player, but right now I see very well Attila Szalai, who plays for Fenerbahce, but I think he is joining Chelsea.

“Clearly, he has been followed by important clubs in Spain, but apparently his move to Chelsea is a done deal. He would be a great player also for Italian football.”

Thomas Tuchel is eager to add more signing to the defensive position with the likes of Andreas Christensen, Rudiger, Silva and Azpilicueta currently on their last few months.

More than one defender are likely to leave with contract situation still not looking good with talks delaying as no development has been made.

Attila Szalai could be one of those players who replace either of them as Chelsea will also be digging deep into the transfer market for more defenders.

They are also linked with a move for Jules Kounde who almost joined them during the summer window transfer deadline day.
