Antoine Griezmann scored as Atletico Madrid beat Cadiz 1-4 with other goals coming from Lemar alongside Correa and Cunha, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

First half of the encounter wasn’t that good from both ends with no goals coming as they didn’t come through with anything despite all the amount of opportunities.

Cadiz didn’t have much of the chances as they were pressured all through which they managed to hold their ground and keep their opponent from scoring any goal.

It was Chelsea who dominated things as Antoine Griezmann chance couldn’t hit the net which could have made it count after an amazing push forward from them.

Things looked evenly balanced between both teams who had so much work to do in the encounter which looked challenging for both teams regardless of who was dominating.

The first half of the encounter ended with Cadiz 0-0 Atletico Madrid as they both headed inside for the break after a good 45 minutes which didn’t bring anything to celebrate about.

Second Half Report 

The second half opened up better as both teams tried to push forward in attempt of taking the lead which didn’t come at once.

Thomas Lemar opened the goal scoring in the 56th minute of the second half giving Atletico Madrid a 0-1 lead from an outstanding finish.

Cadiz couldn’t make anything happen as another goal from Antoine Griezmann in the 70th minute turned things into 0-2 for the visiting side who dominated things.

Another one this time from Angel Correa which saw the scoreline turned 0-3 in the 76th minute as the away side were unstoppable going forward against their opponent.

An 86th minute own-goal from Jan Oblak gave the home side a consolation goal which was something they needed to make the scoreline 1-3 as things go on.

Matheus Cunha scored another one to restored things as scoreline turned 1-4 with a clinical finish in the 86th minute of the game.

The match came to an end with Cadiz 1-4 Atletico Madrid which saw the away side claiming all three points that sends them into third position on the table.
