Mason Mount scored a hat-trick as Chelsea thrashed Norwich City 7-0 in the English Premier League to remain top of the table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Three goals scored in the first half as the Blues dominated things going forward while they also made sure nothing hit them.
Chelsea opened the goal scoring in the 8th minute through Mason Mount who made things 1-0 with assistance coming from Jorginho.
Callum Hudson Odoi scored in the 18th minute from a beautiful finish which gave his a 2-0 lead against Norwich City who couldn’t stop the goals from coming.
The game progressed further with more opportunities created by the home side who looked comfortable in all their dealings.
Reece James made it count in the 42nd minute of the game with another goal that increased the scoreline to 3-0 going forward.
The first half ended with Chelsea 3-0 Norwich City as they both headed for the break which sees the Blues taking a very big advantage.
Second Half Report
The second half was so much good as the goals kept coming nonstop with so many good display of football enjoyed by the fans.
Ben Chilwell got things going in the second half as he scored in the 57th minute of with assist coming from Mateo Kovacic to make it 4-0 for Chelsea.
Max Aaron 62nd minute own-goal made it 5-0 going forward as the pressure from the home side was the player making an error which cost Norwich City a goal down.
Things got worst in the 65th minute as Ben Gibson was sent off after receiving his second yellow card of the encounter.
Mason Mount made it his brace in the 85th minute of the game from the penalty spot after missing his first chance which VAR helped in giving him another opportunity which he made it 6-0.
The England international made it his hat-trick in the 90th minute with additional time which saw him finishing off to make thing 7-0 for his side.
The match came to an end with Chelsea getting a 7-0 victory against Norwich City as they made sure they felt no pity scoring and demolishing their opponent.
