Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed forward Marcus Rashford’s injury return date, MySportDab reports.

Solskjaer also added that the club will not rush Marcus Rashford back into football action.

After playing for England at Euro 2020, Rashford underwent surgery and has been ruled him out of the early weeks of the new season.

Last week Rashford shared image of himself back in training with a massive boost for Manchester United.

However, Speaking before United’s League Cup defeat against West Ham United on Wednesday, Solskjaer has made it clear that Rashford’s recovery will not be rushed.

When asked about the pictures of Rashford, and Telles back training, Solskjaer said to Manchester United’s website: “Yeah it’s going well.

“They are both working very hard. Alex is a closer to a return than Marcus. Marcus is unlikely to play until after the international break but Alex has performed well in training.”

Manchester United fans are desperate to have Marcus Rashford back in action very soon.

Rashford is one of the first team regular players at Old Trafford when fit, and the recent signing of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho have improved their attacking options.

Rashford can now undergo a stress-free rehabilitation from his surgery.

He is strongly in contention to play for Manchester United against Leicester City on October 16.
