Manchester United have reached an agreement to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Tom Heaton who is set for medical, MySportDab reports.
The 35 year old signed a one year deal with an option to extend for another season if he wished to do so with the club.
Tom Heaton will be unveiled after his medical which is already scheduled to hold before the new becomes official.
The goalkeeper will be hoping he can misplace Dean Henderson and David de Gea to be United number one ahead of next season.
Although with reports of possible move for De Gea, this might be a replacement for him as we await to see if he will be leaving Old Trafford this summer.
Football journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news about the new signing who is set to undergo his medical in the coming days.
This will be Manchester United first signing this summer with Tom Heaton being signed for free after his contract with Aston Villa expired.
It might come as a shock to the fans who expected the Res Devils to have sign Donnarumma who unfortunately decided to make a move to Paris Saint Germain.
Manchester United are still in negotiations with Jadon Sancho team as they are set to make him their second signing this summer.
Borussia Dortmund are holding out for £95 million and from the looks of things the deal might happen this summer.
