Angel Correa and Luis Suarez both scored as Atletico Madrid beat Real Valladolid 1-2 to win the Laliga title, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was just one goal to separate both teams who had several opportunities to make things happen while going forward.
Real Valladolid had things going after Oscar Plano made it 1-0 in the 13th minute of the game through an outstanding finish to give his side the lead.
Atletico Madrid was much more in the game as they tried to quickly level things, but it failed to happen for them while the encounter carried on.
More opportunities kept on coming for the visitors who needed to ensure they get something out of the game to enable them win the laliga title for the 2020/2021 season.
The first half of the encounter ended with Real Valladolid 1-0 Atletico Madrid which they both headed for the break with the home side taking the lead.
Second Half Report
The second half was a different ball game which saw the visitors fighting with a fantastic comeback which saw goals coming.
Atletico Madrid dominated the game as it progressed with Angel Correa finding the leveler in the 57th minute of the match to make things 1-1 after a very good goal.
Real Valladolid couldn’t hold on any longer as things went beyond their control in the second half before Luis Suarez made it 1-2 on the 67th minutes of the game.
More from the second 45 minutes saw yellow cards flying in for both teams who couldn’t compose themselves from making harsh tackles as they entered additional time.
The match finally finished with Real Valladolid 1-2 Atletico Madrid which saw the visitors lifting the Laliga Santander trophy for the 2020/2021 season.
