Edinson Cavani scored as Man United drew relegated Fulham 1-1 at Old Trafford as they prepare for their Europa League final, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both sides had it good in the first half of the encounter which saw just one mistake which led to the only goal that was scored within the 45 minutes.
Fulham was in the game in the early minutes which saw them dealing with every threat thrown at them by the Red Devils who controlled the encounter as it progressed.
Man United was able to break the deadlock in the 15th minute as Edinson Cavani scored a long-range goal with assistance from Bruno Fernandes to make it 1-0.
The match was more evenly balanced after the goal which saw the already relegated side doing everything possible to keep it clean at the back despite the attacks.
The first half of the encounter ended with Man United 1-0 Fulham, as they both headed for the break with an advantage going the way of the Red Devils.
Second Half Report
The second half started off good with both sides creating early opportunities from the two teams but none could hit the back of the net.
Man United continued to dominate the encounter knowing they have nothing to play for with the big game against Villarreal fast approaching as they will be looking to win the Europa League.
Fulham had to deal with so much which also saw them pushing forward on some occasions that could have given them something out of the game if their finishing was good.
Nothing yet coming from the game as it progressed until 76th minutes when the visitors pulled back level 1-1 with a goal from Joe Bryan who made good use of his opportunity.
The match finally came to an end with Man United 1-1 Fulham which both teams decided to share the points one each.
