FT: England 5-0 San Marino, Calvert Lewin Bags BRACE! (Match Report And Highlight)

England kicked off their World Cup qualifying campaign with an outstanding 5-0 win against San Marino as Calvert Lewin scored a brace with Ollie Watkins and Word Prowse on target, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half of the encounter was very much entertaining with loads of goals coming from the home side who dominated the game.

It took England just 14 minutes to open the flood gate as Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell set up James Ward-Prowse to make it 1-0.

San Marino were below average in defending as another goal was scored in the 21st minutes by Dominic Calvert-Lewin to make it 2-0.

Raheem Sterling made it 3-0 in the 31st minutes which came after a great play from the home side which Mason Mount made sure he directed a good assist.

The first half of the encounter ended with England 3-0 San Marino as they both headed for the break with an advantage over the home side.

Second Half Report

The second half started brightly for the home side who continued with their dominance in the game as they created some early opportunities.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin made himself useful once again in the 53rd minute of the game as Lingard set up the Everton man to make it 4-0.

England continued to control the game while they kept on tormenting the life out of their opponent by creating numerous amounts of opportunities.

Ollie Watkins came off the bench and made it 5-0 in the 83rd minute of the encounter after a lovely teamwork efforts.

The game finally came to an end with England 5-0 San Marino which saw the Three Lions opened up their World Cup qualifying campaign with a win.
