Two late goals was scored as Senegal suffer a 0-2 defeat against Netherlands in the FIFA World Cup, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was evenly balanced between both teams who did well enough going forward against each other in the encounter.
The Netherlands started well dominating play but they couldn’t get a clear strike on goal as the game continued between the both of them who were looking to score the opener.
Senegal weren’t the best side but anytime they go forward it always looking like they will score the opening goal which unfortunately didn’t happen either for them as it carried on.
There were more opportunities from both ends which didn’t see anything good coming from them as they approached the half hour mark which the scoreline was still the same 0-0.
The first half ended with Senegal 0-0 Netherlands which was a beautiful one coming from both teams after 45 minutes of football which came from both of them.
Second Half Report
The second half started well with both Nations pushing forward to ensure they are able to take the lead which was proving too difficult to happen between them.
Senegal were pretty much the better side who did more in terms of their attempts on goal which was more than their opponent who had all the ball possession working for them in the game.
The game entered the 70th minute with still nothing coming from both of them as the encounter was too evenly balanced and closed without any openings being created to operate.
Cody Gakpo scored in the 84th minute of the game which saw his side take a 0-1 lead in what was a clever and well taken finish which gave them the advantage.
Davy Klaassen added another one in the 90th minute plus additional time which saw the Dutch claiming all three points and 0-2.
The match came to an end with Netherlands taking a 0-2 victory against Senegal after 90 minutes of football which was played between the both of them.
