FT Manchester United 0-2 Manchester City: Solksjaer Lose Semi-final Again (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Manchester City have now reached the Carabao Cup final after a 2-0 win against rivals Manchester United, MySportDab reports. 

The match started as expected with two quick goals in the first ten minutes but the goals were disqualified for offside.

It ended 0-0 at Half-time in the match at Old Trafford with neither team able to find the net.

In the second half, Manchester City scored the first goal from a set piece.

Close to the end in the 80th minute, City got their second goal after a long shot from Fernandinho.

Manchester United had some good chances to score in the second half but failed to take them.

Bruno Fernandes tried with different shots from outside the box, crosses into the box but there was nobody to get on the end.

Manchester City will now face Tottenham in the Carabao Cup final.

Henderson – 7

The young Manchester United goalkeeper made some good saves to keep his side in the game.

Harry Maguire – 6

He was at fault for the Manchester United goal and should have cleared the ball before John Stones could reach it.

Lindelof – 6

Back from injury, it was his usual average performance

Wan-Bissaka 6

Failed to provide enough support on the right going forward but did well defensively.

Shaw – 7

A decent performance from Shaw both up front and in defence.

Pogba – 6

Despite his recent performance against Aston Villa, Pogba did not impress as expected Vs Manchester City.

McTominay – 7

Did his job well in the middle of the park, a good all round performance.

Fred – 6

Showed some good quick feet on the ball but lost possession in bad places and got a yellow card.

Fernandes – 6

Not an impressive from Fernandes as he tried everything in attack but no end product.

Rashford – 7

Rashford was United’s best player in the first half but failed to do anything much in the second half.

Martial – 6

A poor performance from Martial, Cavani would have done a better job without his current ban.
