The first half was full of action as both sides had much to play with the home side finding the back of the net despite not being the better side in the encounter tonight.

Everton Chelsea

Everton took the lead in the 22nd minute after Sigurdsson coverted from the penalty spot after Edouard Mendy fouled Dominic Calvert-Lewin before the Iceland man made it 1-0.

Chelsea tried everything possible to make a comeback but it looked impossible as the finishing wasnt good despite the good crosses coming from the left and right backs.
