Barcelona played out a 2-2 draw against Valencia after coming from one goal down as Lionel Messi lost a penalty before scoring from Jordi Alba’s cross, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was exciting with two goals scored by both teams who had and amazing 45 minutes.
Valencia took the lead in the 29th minute after pressing the home side before eventually taking the advantage through a good goal from Diakhaby to make it 1-0.
Lionel Messi put Barcelona level 1-1 with a late goal which came after the Argentine missed a penalty and later benefited from Jordi Alba cross to head it in.
The first half ended with Barcelona 1-1 Valencia as they both headed for the break with a draw scoreline.
Second Half Report
The second half was more of the same as both teams found the back of the net once again after an outstanding encounter.
Ronald Araujo put Barcelona ahead in the 52nd minute after a great break of play which saw converted with a clever finish to make it 2-1.
Valencia continued to pressure their opponent until they got the much needed equalizer which came in the 69th minute through Maxi Gomez to make it 2-2.
The matched ended with a 2-2 draw as Barcelona were held to a draw at home against Valencia who put on an outstanding performance today.
