Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has provided fans with fresh updates about the fitness levels of duo Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech, MySportDab reports.

Pulisic and Ziyech have missed the recent games for Chelsea due to injury.

Now, Lampard has confirmed that Pulisic could get his chance to start against Wolves but Ziyech won’t be back anytime soon.

Right now, this is a mini-injury crisis for Chelsea, as all their wingers are out injured.

Pulisic was close to a return against Everton but sustained another problem on his hamstring, which has disturbed him all season.

Chelsea Stars Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi have also had problems in a similar area.

Ziyech, Pulisic, and Hudson-Odoi were missed at the weekend with Lampard decided to use Timo Werner and Kai Havertz as wingers.

However, Frank Lampard has opened up about the players as they battle for fitness ahead of Chelsea’s game on Tuesday against Wolves.

When asked about American Christian Pulisic, Lampard responded: “He was out due to his hamstring injury.

“He participated in Saturday’s training. He will be part of the squad for tomorrow but we are not sure if he can start or not. It is positive news.”

When asked about how Chelsea can adapt due to the lack of wingers, Lampard said: “Not for long no. We play well as a team.

“Hakim is a key player and suddenly we’re don’t have wingers. It’s not about the formation we used at the weekend, it’s the way we executed our plans. We have players comfortable enough to do that.”

Everton are now the first team since Liverpool to defeat Chelsea in the Premier League after a mistake by Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
