Tottenham Coach Jose Mourinho has confirmed the situation about Gareth Bale’s debut against Manchester United this weekend, MySportDab reports.

Mourinho has now ruled Bale out of the match against Manchester United on Sunday.

Gareth Bale is not ready for Old Trafford as he tried to improve his fitness leave.

Wales Coach Ryan Giggs is not expected to call him up for the international break, which has a match against England.

However, Jose Mourinho hopes that England Coach Gareth Southgate would use the likes of Eric Dier, Harry Kane, and Harry Winks carefully after their busy September schedule.

‘Bale can’t play tomorrow or this weekend, that is confirmed,’ said Mourinho.

‘He is committed professional, and working very hard, but not yet ready.

‘I think the two weeks of international break will help improve the speed of his recovery and fitness problem.

‘Hopefully, he can play after the national teams matches. Let’s see if it’s possible.

‘I did not talk to Ryan Giggs but I think he understands the player and know how important this is for the player, and I think he won’t pick Bale for the national team.

‘He’s just not ready, he can’t play for them, but to be there and to stay, he could help the player alot.

‘He is a Tottenham player and belongs to the Wales national team and he will likely have this period to work and get back to good conditions.’

Gareth Bale will miss the match against United, who were said to be interested in signing the 31-year-old before his Tottenham transfer.

Tottenham won their last match against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night via penalties.
