Manchester United forward Antony have come out to deny allegation of assualt put on him by his girlfriend, MySportDab reports.
The Brazilian International debunk claims which was made by the lady who was said to be his girlfriend.
Antony came out to make it clear that he was never in any way assaulted the lady in question who have labeled claims against him.
The forward won’t be the first Manchester United player to be hit with such scandal as Mason Greenwood is currently facing a portion.
Greenwood was recently cleared of all charges but has been unable to find anyway back to gaining the forgiveness of so many.
His actions have cost him to lose his place at Manchester United with heavy protest mainly from the female team who does not want him back.
Antony is the newest of names to be on the list of football stars with assault allegations placed on their name.
The player was earlier said to be under investigation when the case was reported but things seems to be going slow from the police.
The player earlier claimed innocent and is still taking his stand in the claims and charges lingering.
Here Is What Antony Said:
“Out of respect for my fans, friends and family I feel obligated to speak publicly about the false accusations I have been a victim of.
“From the beginning I have handled this issue seriously and with respect, providing the due clarifications to the police authority.
“The police inquest is under cover of justice, and therefore I cannot make its content public.
“However, I can say with confidence that the accusations are false and that the evidence already produced and more to be produced show that I am innocent of the accusations made.
“My relationship with Ms. Gabriela was tumultuous, with verbal offenses from both sides, but I never practiced any physical aggression.
“Every time, whether in testimony or in interview, she presents a different version of the accusations.
“Thus, I come to deny the accusations made and inform that I remain at the full disposal of the Brazilian authorities to clarify what is needed.
“I trust the ongoing police investigations will reveal the truth about my innocence”.
It was claimed that Antony and the lady called Gabriela were having issues in their relationship which was mainly caused by the United man.
They are claims of various audio recordings of the player being angry with the said lady who he was begging for forgiveness.
Other claims include talks of the player pulling out a knife and also threatening to push Gabriela out of a speeding car.
It was also said Antony head-butted Gabriela this year in January which led to her sustaining a cut.
Other allegations were also said and claimed to have happened which was all about the player abusing his girlfriend.
Antony remains with his words saying he is innocent of all things leveled against him as police investigations are still going on.
