Chelsea recorded a comfortable 3-1 victory over Brighton with goals coming from Jorginho alongside Recce James and Kurt Zouma, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first 45 minutes was poor from both sides who did everything possible to take the lead as one goal was recorded.
The match saw Chelsea hand Kai Havertz and Timo Werner their debuts with both players giving a good account of themselves.
Brighton & Hove Albion did threatened but failed to convert and make it count for themselves.
Jorginho scored from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute of the game after Ryan committed a foul on Timo Werner.

Second Half Report
The second 45 minutes was full of excitement from both sides who recorded at least a goal with three going in.
Brighton & Hove Albion struck first in the second half as Trossard made it 1-1 in the 54th minute of the game.
Immediately Recce James struck a thunderbolt in the 56th minute to put Chelsea 2-1 in the match.
Couple of chances went begging from both teams who were unable to finish off from good opportunities.
Kurt Zouma later made it 3-1 for the Blues after a scramble in the penalty area with Recce James cross.
It ended Brighton 1-3 Chelsea as the Blues recorded a in their first game of the new season.
