Man United have officially announced the signature of Donny van de Beek from Ajax who joined in a £35 million fee, MySportDab reports.
Donny van de Beek have officially completed his move to Old Trafford as he sign a five year deal with the Red Devil.
The player has just been unveiled after completing his medical few days ago for a £35 million transfer fee.
The player was linked with other top clubs but Manchester United was able to pull through and get the player.
It came after United were left stranded in their pursuit for Jadon Sancho which did went through for them.
Borussia Dortmund were only ready to accept the full payment which the Old Trafford wanted to pay in installment.
Donny van de Beek has now completed his move to Manchester United and will be joining the full squad in training.
The player was impressive for Ajax last season which he made his mark and attracted a lot of interest from top clubs.
The 23-year-old joins on a five-year deal with the option to extend for an additional season with Solskjaer’s side.
Terms and agreements were finalized on Sunday which he did medical the following day at Old Trafford.
Speaking to Man Utd’s official website Donny van de Beek said:

“I would like to thank everyone at Ajax. I grew up there and I will always have a special bond with the club.
“I am now ready to take the next step in my career and perform at the highest level and there is no higher standard than Manchester United.
“Everyone has told me how amazing the Old Trafford atmosphere is and I am looking forward to experiencing that, once it is safe for the fans to return.
“This team has some of the best midfielders in the world and I know that I can learn from them and also bring my own strengths to the group.
“Having spoken to the manager about his vision for this team, the direction that the club is going in is hugely exciting and I cannot wait to be a part of that.”

“Donny has all of the technical attributes needed to perform in this team and has the personality required to succeed at Man United.
