Anthony Joshua’s representatives have denied allegations that the heavyweight superstar was having an affair with the wife of footballer Riyad Mahrez, MySportDab reports.Â
30-year-old Joshua has been spotted out with 26-year-old Rita, who has two children with Riyad Mahrez but they are no longer together.
According to The Sun, Joshua was spotted on nights out with Rita Mahrez’s wife in public.
However, Anthony Joshua’s spokesman has denied the accusations.
‘Anthony does not know Mrs Mahrez personally and has no plan to, now or later in the future,’ AJ’s spokesman said.
‘He’s surprised that she or people around her tried use his name for publicity.’
Anthony Joshua is single after he ended his relationship with dancer Nicole Osbourne in 2016, they have a son together.
Joshua is said to have first met Rita in London’s Tape nightclub in December.
But, Joshua ‘backed away’ after learning that she was still married to Manchester City winger Mahrez.
Mahrez married Rita in a private wedding ceremony with family and close friends back in August 2015.
The couple are said to have issues in their relationship and barely make contact with each other.
Riyad Mahrez and Rita left their Cheshire mansion after all attempts to rebuild their four-year marriage.
