Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reacted after Sunday’s 2-1 defeat against Sevilla in the Europa League semi-final, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils will now focus on the transfer window after their long season ended on Sunday evening.

Jadon Sancho remains their top target, others like  Saul Niguez and Jack Grealish have been mentioned.

Manchester United took the lead through the  Bruno Fernandes in the first half, who scored a penalty after Marcus Rashford was fouled in the box.

Sevilla scored back and Goalkeeper David De Gea could do nothing.

And the Spanish club won the game thanks to a late goal from Luke de Jong.

Speaking after the match, Solskjaer has spoken about transfers.

“We are planning to improve everything we have. We’ve endured injury spells. We’re hoping to improve the squad,” he said.

“It’s not about one particular player, it’s about the quality. The right personality for the group.”

When asked specifically about Sancho, he added: “I’m not talking about other teams’ players.”

On the match, Solksjaer continued:

“The Goalkeeper keeper had a good game. It’s frustrating we failed to score because we have the players with that quality.

“Since February we’ve played very well. Then again it’s bad to lose.

“We’ve come a long way. It’s been very exciting to work with the players.

“We clearly have to improve to climb up the table and win trophies. We’ve reached three semi-finals in one season but no trophy.”
