Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes spoke to defender Victor Lindelof angry after Sevilla scored the winning goal late on, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils were knocked out of their third semi-final this season and the Portuguese was angry with his fellow team-mate.
Lindelof was in a bad position which allowed de Jong to score past David De Gea.
But Speaking after the match, Fernandes insisted it was a normal reaction in such a high pressure game.
He told BT Sport: “It’s normal when your opponent score. It’s not about me Victor or me. What happened between us is normal.
“It happens many times in football. We need to identify our mistakes and improve.”
Despite the Bust-up with Lindelof, Fernandes felt United were the best team in the semi-final.
He added: “We had a very a positive start. We played nice football game and created many chances.
“But that’s not enough in football, we failed to score.
“We are not happy about this because we wanted to reach the final. Now it’s time to rest and prepare ahead.”
