Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was excited as Paul Pogba And Bruno Fernandes combined to ensure the club got a draw at Tottenham on Friday night, MySportDab reports.
Pogba’s second-half introduction set him up with Fernandes in a football match for the first time and United soon enjoyed the benefits.
Fernandes scored the equalising penalty after Pogba had dribbled past Tottenham defender Eric Dier before a foul.
However, Solskjaer admitted he was not impressed by United’s second-half performance, inspired by the midfield, did not produce a win in north London.
Pogba And Bruno?Â
“Am not happy we didn’t win,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports.Â
“Football can be strange. Last year Spurs had us for 40 minutes and today it is the opposite. The performance is not that bad.
“First 25 minutes we started slowly. Paul Pogba is one of the best footballers in the world and it is great to have him again. He is happy to be back, he has endured a 10-month injury nightmare. I am sure everyone can see he is hungry for games.
“It is a different team now compared to when he got injured. We are a club that want all best players in the world to play together. Pogba showed he can play alongside Bruno.”
Fernandes’ penalty cancelled out Steven Bergwijn’s goal in the first half after awful defending from Manchester United defenders in the first half.
The draw means Bruno Fernandes is yet to lose a match since joining United in January from Sporting Lisbon in January.
Manchester United, are now a point flower to Chelsea in fourth and have eight matches left to play in the Premier League this season.
