Chelsea Winger Willian has rejected the club’s new contract offer of a two-year extension as he demands for three years, MySportDab reports.
The Brazilian has been at Chelsea since 2013 and is now out-of-contract at the end of the season and is already in talks to foreign clubs.
Now, According to Brazilian outlet UOL, Willian has rejected Chelsea’s latest two year offer and he has already had offers from other clubs in the Premier League.
The Brazilian spoke about a new contract after the defeat to Bayern Munich last week, saying: ‘Chelsea offered me two years, and they won’t change what they offered.
‘I want three more years. The situation is very difficult because of this, I am not sure if it will be possible.
‘My goal is to continue helping and focus on the rest of the season, so that Chelsea can win every game for the remainder of the season.’
Despite his future at Stamford Bridge being unknown, the 31-year-old is still an an integral part in Frank Lampard’s squad this season.
He has played 36 games in all competitions and scored the opening goal in Chelsea’ 2-0 win against Liverpool in the FA Cup fifth-round on Tuesday night.
Willian has scored important goals home and away in the Champions League against Lille in the group-stage, and a stunning goal at fierce rivals Tottenham in December.
The Brazilian has an impressive trophy cabinet to show for his six-and-a-half years in west London.
