Manchester United Star Jesse Lingard has linked up with super-agent Mino Raiola despite the agent problems with the Premier League club, MySportDab reports.
The Dutchman widely known for his criticism and brilliance in transfers, wants to add England star to his growing network of top players.
Reports yesterday claimed that United were ready to offer Jesse Lingard and £40 million in cash to sign Leicester City Star James Maddison.
And According to The Daily Mail,
Manchester United officials are now concerned about the 27-year-old signing up with Raiola.
Manchester United have a poor relationship with the agent who represents top players in football today.
Also it is understood that United tried to go round him to sign Erling Braut Haaland but failed and the played joined Borussia Dortmund instead.
Top officials at Old Trafford believe Lingard linking up with Raiola could lead to his exit in no time from Old Trafford.
The belief is the super-agent could start planning a move away from Old Trafford for United’s academy product.
United’s relationship has turned bad with Raiola over midfielder Paul Pogba and his desire to quit the club for Real Madrid or Juventus.
And last week the Agent confirmed he won’t suggest any of his client join Manchester United right now which could be a huge problem.
“Paul’s problem is Manchester United. This is a Premier League club without reality and without a real project,” Raiola said.
“I wouldn’t suggest anyone go there, they could even ruin the careers of players like Pele, Maradona and Maldini.
“Paul needs a new club and a strong squad, one like Juventus or maybe Real Madrid.”
Lingard is due to be out of contract after the end of next season but the club have an option to extend his contract for another year.
Lingard has played almost 200 senior game for United since coming through from the academy.
The 27-year-old has 24 caps for England but has not been called up to the squad for over a year.
Lingard has made a total of 26 appearances this season for United in all competitions, scored once and provided one assist.
