Arsenal have officially unveiled a new signing goalkeeper David Raya who join them from Brentford, MySportDab reports.
The Spanish goalkeeper is now a player with the Gunners who were able to strike a deal which is now official.
David Raya become a new player with Arsenal and could also give Aaron Ramsdale a fight for the number one position.
The addition is one which comes after the London side parted ways with Matt Turner who completed a move to Nottingham Forest.
Arsenal made the announcement official as they unveiled David Raya as a new goalkeeper who will be their number two man.
Here Is What Raya Said:
“I’m over the moon to be able to take this challenge in my career and make the step up.
“I’m really excited to get going and see how the season ends up. I spoke to the boss and he sent me the values of what Arsenal are about.
“The way that the club is going, it’s growing even more so it is a beautiful challenge to take and I couldn’t say no.
“I’ve seen Arsenal a lot for a lot of years and since [Mikel] came he’s made a massive difference to the style of play and to the club.
“The way the team plays out of the back, being confident and taking possession to the other team is the main thing why I fit into the team.
“I’m going to try and help as much as possible and we’ll see what happens.
Raya join on a loan move for €3 million which is expected to increase further as there is an option to make it permanent.
Arsenal will pay €27 million in addition for David Raya move when they make it permanent after the end of the season which is when the loan move will expire.
