West Ham United claimed the UEFA Europa Conference League title after beating Fiorentina 1-2, MySportDab reports.
Jarrod Bowen scored the late winner which was able to see the Hammers dramatically win their first European title.
First Half Report
The game started well with both teams giving all their best going forward and trying to make sure they are able to score early.
It was a beautiful start for Fiorentina who dominated the ball possession and did well enough going forward in attempt to make something happen.
West Ham United held on fine doing as much as possible to ensure they stay in the game despite getting fewer touches on the ball.
The first half pushed on with nothing productive coming from both teams who were just trying to make opportunities which they still couldn’t make happen.
Fiorentina and West Ham United held each other to a 0-0 scoreline as they headed inside for the break with 45 minutes of football already played between them.
Second Half Report
The second half was where all the action took place with both teams finally being able to make it count going forward.
West Ham United scored the opening goal in the 62nd minutes of the game through a well taken penalty from Said Benrahma to make the scoreline 0-1.
The game carried on with Fiorentina making a comeback in the 67th minutes through a breathtaking goal scored by Giacomo Bonaventura to make things 1-1.
The game was already looking like it was heading to extra time as they couldn’t make anything come play not until a late finish with the left football from Jarrod Bowen made it 1-2 in the 90th minutes.
West Ham United held it through the added minutes to ensure they claimed their first European title by winning the Conference League 1-2 against Fiorentina after 90 minutes.
