Chelsea’s plan on how to poach for a new successor for Graham Potter has been revealed, MySportDab reports.

Chelsea axed Graham Potter after he settled for a shock home defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday.

The loss follows Graham Potter’s inconsistent Premier League run with the Blues since taking over as manager of the club.

Potter was tipped as a long-term replacement for Thomas Tuchel when the latter was sacked in September last year.

But it appears, Chelsea hierachy got fed up with the series of poor results that has left the club on mid-table in the Premier League.

The Aston Villa loss left Chelsea 11th on the Premier League table and was the last straw that broke the camel’s back.

A number of high-profile managers have been linked to the Chelsea job with recently sacked Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann leading the list of possible successors.

Now, according to the Sun, Chelsea are not in a hurry to recruit a new manager for the club after the sack of Potter.

The report adds “Chelsea will not appoint a new manager until the end of the season and want to screen and select the best hands for the job.”

Hence, Chelsea interim manager Bruno Saltor is expected to take charge of affairs till the end of the season when the club must have successfully got hold of the best candidate for the job.

Bruno Saltor will now take charge of Chelsea’s Premier League and Champions League games.

Chelsea’s Champions League chances are getting slimmer after a dismal Premier League campaign under Potter.

They are far off the top-four in the Premier League and will have to win this year’s Champions League to qualify for the competition next year.

They will face Real Madrid in the quarterfinal next week for a place in the semifinals.

Among the list of other managers who may likely takeover from Graham Potter is Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, Olivier Glasner, and Antonio Conte.
