The drama in La Liga just keep getting bigger as court has placed an order for Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez appearance over his comments on Barcelona.
The rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona always bring out so much both on and off the pitch. Despite their first rivalry for the season yet to come, things are already hitting up.
Both teams haven’t been on the same level this season which is barely getting started. The current Champions are occupying the top position and are points clear.
While for the Los Blancos, they have been struggling despite the preseason they had which saw them scoring for fun against opponent.
The season hasn’t gone well on the pitch leading to their game against Atletico Madrid which was one they suffered a defeat.
They were some comments made which was also thrown at Barcelona. Some reports confirmed those at Real Madrid saying their rivals are being handed the title.
According to reports from The Touchline, they confirmed the court has been involved and Barcelona are looking at taking things beyond the pitch.
“Florentino Perez has been summoned to the court over his statements about Barcelona “stealing league titles through cheating”
“If Florentino Perez retracts his statements, the club will drop the lawsuit.
“Otherwise, Barcelona will proceed with a criminal lawsuit.
The situation isn’t looking favorable to the Real Madrid President who is known for always voicing out his opinions when it comes to the La Liga.
However, there is nothing yet confirmed concerning the case which could be taken to criminal court or dropped off depending on what happens next after Perez shows up.
The first El Clasico for the new season is expected to take place on October 25 which won’t be an easy game for both teams with Jose Mourinho looking to make his mark.
