Despite nearing the twilight of his career, Neymar has once again proven he still has the magic with his deliveries and passing skills, MySportDab reports.
The Brazilian sensation hogged the headlines last night after he delivered an insane pinpoint assist for teammate Thaciano for Santos’ first goal against Remo in the Brazilian Serie A.
Remo defenders had settled for a low block after coming under pressure from Santos, but the numbers in the box weren’t a hindrance for Neymar.

After having the ball on right hand side, he feigned an intrusion into the penalty box before cutting into his left.
With Neymar’s threat, Remo defenders retreated further back, but the winger was quick enough to spot an on-rushing Thaciano and delivered a devilish cross to the latter to slot it home [Video available at the end of this post]
It was one of the player’s many masterclass performances and big moments. His game-reading skills, quick decision-making and precision all came to the fore with the assist.
Moises then added a late goal to seal the victory for Santos after the first goal, but Neymar’s brilliant assist has continued to dominate the headlines, sending football fans crazy.
A football fan wrote, “Neymar is who he says he is. This is absolutely incredible.”
Another fan wrote, “Brazil 2026 World Cup squad cannot be complete without Neymar.”
Another added, “a pass for the ages. It can only be Neymar.”
Notably, Neymar’s internet-breaking pass has further reawakened the conversation on his chances in the Brazil 2026 World Cup.
Recall Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti left out the player in his squad for the just-concluded March international break – a mock list of what is to expect in the 2026 World Cup squad.
Addressing the absence of the top-rated forward from the list, Ancelotti said Neymar still stand a chance of breaking into the team for the World Cup, but must improve on his fitness and performances.
Fingers are now crossed on Brazil’s final World Cup squad list with football fans hoping Neymar makes the cut with his recent heroics.
