Premier League side, Aston Villa, have made a shock move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Joao Felix. Felix, 23, spent the 2023-24 season on loan to Barcelona. The La Liga giants are reportedly interested in retaining the Portuguese but are set to face competition from Aston Villa.

Portuguese giants, Benfica, are also said to be interested in a move for Joao Felix. Despite a niggling injury problem, Felix recorded an impressive debut campaign with Barcelona last season.
