FT: Galatasaray 1-0 Liverpool, Mario Lemina Goal Sink REDS! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Mario Lemina scored the only goal as Galatasaray claimed a first leg 1-0 win against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League round 16, MySportDab reports.

The game was challenging for both teams who showed class and did everything in their power to try make sure they get a first leg advantage.

First Half Report 

It was a wonderful scene in the Stadium between both teams who became prepared to ensure they secured all the advantage.

Liverpool were solid enough from their end as they took things to the home side part of the pitch pressing in search of an opener which did not come.

Galatasaray broke the deadlock after a header assist from Victor Osimhen was finished off by Mario Lemina which made it 1-0 in the 7th minute.

The game carried on with opportunities which weren’t enough to change what the scoreline eas saying as they hit 45 minutes mark.

It was still 1-0 before both teams went inside for a break. The home side were good on their end knowing they had to keep their advantage.

Second Half Report 

The second half carried on with Virgil van Dijk goal in the 70th minute which eventually did not stand after VAR check.

There was so much which happened later on but nothing changed things as it came to a conclusion with Galatasaray claiming a 1-0 victory at home.
