Harry Maguire scored the winner as Manchester United claimed a 1-2 victory away from home against Liverpool, MySportDab reports.
It was another match which came as a shock to many after Ruben Amorim side took an early lead which stayed on for a long time.
First Half Report
The encounter began with all odds favoring the Premier League Champions who many expected to get an easy one.
However, the shocker happened when Bryan Mbeumo scored with just two minutes played between both teams.
The goal was assisted by Amad Diallo as Manchester United took a surprise 0-1 lead in the 2nd minute of play.
It was a struggle for Arne Slot side who continued to press and dominate, but they couldn’t make anything happen.
It was still 0-1 before both teams headed for the break. Ruben Amorim side were on a good run while heading to the break after 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The action was overload in the second half as both teams kept at it doing all they could to make things go in their way.
Cody Gakpo was able to bring things to level terms 1-1 after teaming up with Federico Cheisa who made sure he provided the assist for the goal.
The goal happened in the 78th minutes as more action was left to be played. Harry Maguire once again delivered with a goal in the 84th minutes.
Bruno Fernandes was the man who made sure his deliver was perfect for Maguire goal. The game came to an end with Liverpool 1-2 Manchester United.
