Liverpool have agreed personal terms with Florian Wirtz in what will be another big transfer win for the Reds this summer, MySportDab reports.

Wirtz, who has been a standout performer for Bayer Leverkusen since last season, has been on the radar of top clubs in Europe.

The German midfield sensation, known for his playmaking and great team play skills, attracted interest from Barcelona, Bayern Munich, including Manchester City.

We reported earlier Manchester City later backed out of the move for the player due to Leverkusen’s ludicrous €150million asking price.

Barcelona were also ruled out of the race, leaving Bayern Munich and Liverpool to wrestle for his services.

Meanwhile, Wirtz was expected to play a big role in his next stop as a player with a decision on his preferred destination.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, he has ditched Bayern Munich and decided to pit tent with Liverpool instead. Wirtz gave clear preference to Liverpool with Bayer Leverkusen aware of his decision, per the report.

It has also been confirmed Liverpool have agreed terms on all contract details with the player, remaining club-to-club terms with Bayer Leverkusen.

Wirtz will be Liverpool’s potential second addition this season should the deal go through. We reported earlier that the Reds have also agreed terms with Bournemouth right-back Milos Kerkez to replace departing Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Wirtz scored 11 Bundesliga goals plus 11 assists last season. He has accumulated double-digit goals plus assists this season and will be a great addition to Liverpool’s midfield.
