The Ballon d’Or Awards men’s coach of the year nominees for 2026 has been confirmed today with Mikel Arteta making the list.
The Arsenal manager is one name many fans expected to see top the list after the success he achieved after years of trying and failing.
Mikel Arteta name comes as no surprise alongside Luis Enrique who were both best coaches during the 2025/2026 season.
The only difference between the manager is, Luis Enrique going on to win every title possible including the UEFA Champions League.

Vincent Kompany – Bayern Munich
Luis Enrique – Paris-SG
Vincent Kompany is also another strong contender for this award as he continues to do well for Bayern Munich.
However, his only struggle is achieving success beyond Germany. His chances of winning the award is slim compared to Arteta and Enrique.
Not forgetting World Cup winning coach, Luis de la Fuente who makes a strong claim for himself after helping Spain to a historical campaign this year.
