Lionel Messi scores first goal for PSG as they beat Man City 2-0 in the Uefa Champions League group stages, MySportDab Reports.
First Half Report
Both teams looked good in the first half despite an early goal which came out of nowhere just a few minutes into the encounter.
It didn’t take PSG long to get the lead with just 8 minutes played as Idrissa Gana Gueye finds the net with the right foot which saw the scoreline turned 1-0 as it carried on.
Pep Guardiola’s Man City side pushed hard to make sure they come back level as the encounter progressed with them dominating things.
Nothing could separate them as things continued to look evenly balanced and match between the two sides who looked hungry and eager for the win.
The first half ended without anything else coming as it finished with PSG 1-0 Man City which saw them heading for the break with an advantage Paris Saint Germain.
Second Half Report
A stronger second half saw a good display coming from the two teams who entered into the final 45 minutes of the game with more pace going forward.
Man City had a glorious chance of making things level, but Bernardo Silva was unable to make it count as he failed to convert from close range.
PSG continued to hold onto their lead which was looking shaky with their opponent pushing forward with everything they have to offer as the game progressed.
It was looking good in terms of action coming from the attackers and defenders which saw Paris Saint Germain doing more of the defense with the Premier League side pushing.
Lionel Messi extended the lead for Paris Saint Germain in the 74th minute after teaming up with Kylian Mbappe to make it 2-0 with an outstanding finish.
The game carried on without anything coming from the Blue side of Manchester as the game ended with PSG 2-0 Man City which saw Paris Saint Germain claiming all 3 points.
