Carlos Baleba has officially completed his long awaited move to Manchester United from Brighton and Hove Albion after an agreement was reached between both parties.
It has been a long time coming for the Cameroon international who was earlier linked with making the move during the previous summer transfer window under a different manager.
Carlos Baleba was seen as the man expected to replace Moises Caicedo who left Brighton and Hove Albion for Chelsea in a record-breaking transfer fee some years ago.
Once again the London club has decided to sell another player who joined them for a less transfer fee. Manchester United will be grateful for making this signing happen after several attempts made.
Michael Carrick have his man and it could signal the end of them making moves in the transfer window which is expected to close up in few days time.
The Old Trafford club reached an agreement with Brighton and Hove Albion for a report fee of £65 million with an additional £5 million which would make it all £70 million.
This transfer fee is lower than what the club requested the first time an attempt was made to sign the Cameroon international.
The midfielder signed a five years contract which will keep him at Old Trafford until 2031 with an option of additional one year.

Also, Manchester United football director had a lot to say concerning the new signing which he is pleased to see him officially finalize the move to United.

Carlos Baleba is expected to immediately join the team as they get ready for their next game following a shocking opening season loss against Hull City.
