Manchester City has officially announced and unveiled Ayyoub Bouaddi as a new signing from Lille this summer transfer window, after completing his medical today.
Enzo Maresca makes another addition to his side that recently saw Savinho and others make an exit this summer window for other Premier League team.
Manchester City has been working on Ayyoub Bouaddi deal for a long time. There was so much difference in the value of Lille and the Premier League side who kept pushing.
Before the City interest, Chelsea made enquires about the Moroccan international, but they ended up not making an official move to sign him.
It was believed the midfielder value was too much for the Blues to make any attempt as they have enough quality in their team.
Other teams like Manchester United and Liverpool were also linked with a move, but it ended up not happening as they were not interested in paying such high fee.
Enzo Maresca pushed on with the City board as they wanted the player by all means possible. As time went on, an agreement was reached with Lille.
Meanwhile, the Premier League side needed to make some sales to enable them move forward with the deal. Everything was completed in due time as the player went for his medical.
Manchester City officially announced Ayyoub Bouaddi as new signing today for a reported fee of €100 million in total package.

“I have plenty of improving to do. I am only 18. I am happy with the progress I have made so far, but I also know I can improve so much.
“This is undoubtedly the best place for me to do that.
“This Club demands trophies and I will give everything to make sure we are challenging for every title.”
Ayyoub Bouaddi will wear the number 32 shirt and will immediately be thrown into training with Manchester City expecting him to start playing as soon as possible.
