Martin Zubimendi scored a brace as Arsenal beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium, MySportDab reports.
Zubimendi scored a rocket from outside the box with Viktor Gyokeres also getting his name on the scorers board.
First Half Report
It was the first game from the September international break which was concluded earlier in the week.
Both teams looked a bit rough from kickoff after coming off some break which saw players return from representing their countries.
Arsenal looked better than their opponent who recently hired a new manager in Ange following Espirito Santo sack.
The Gunners took the lead from a 32nd minute outside box rocket from Martin Zubimendi which ensured things became 1-0.
There was nothing else that materialized from the first half which concluded with a 1-0 lead for the Gunners.
Second Half Report
The second half started well for Mikel Arteta side as they continued where they left things off from the first 45 minutes.
Viktor Gyokeres scored a beauty in the 46th minutes which made sure it was 2-0 as there was still enough time to play.
New signing Eberechi Eze was the one who provided the wonderful assist that lead to another goal in the game.
Martin Zubimendi doubled his goal to a brace after another stunner in the 79th minutes which was assisted by Trossard as things turned 3-0.
It was a smooth sail for Arsenal as they claimed a 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest who gave nothing all through the 90 minutes.
