Enzo Maresca has revealed the chances of Chelsea putting up a challenge against Manchester City and Arsenal, MySportDab reports.
The coach have been able to create some stability with the team but he isn’t sure of them putting up a strong challenge for now.
Chelsea chances of competing with the top teams isn’t there yet according to Enzo Maresca who have been doing so much work with his players.
The Italian is coming fresh off another victory which saw the Premier League side do away with Gent in the Conference League.
According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the comments which came from Enzo Maresca about Chelsea chances of competing.
Here Is What He Said:
“Competing to win the PL? I really don’t think we can compete with Man City or Arsenal now. We are NOT ready”.
“Man City worked with Pep for nine years. Arsenal, five years. Us, three months…”.
“The target is to slowly, slowly… get closer”.
Chelsea are currently occupying the fourth position in the Premier League table with a few points behind number one.
Many fans have already been eyeing a possible title challenge which the manager has brushed aside as not possible.
Enzo Maresca does not feel it is time to put Chelsea among the favorites to challenge for the Premier League title with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal.
