Marcus Rashford BLASTS Man United Legends For Bullying Him

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has reportedly blasted the club’s legends for bullying him, MySportDab reports.

Rashford saw his rating among Man United fans and former players plummet last season following an underwhelming campaign with the club.

He could only manage seven goals with two assists in 35 Premier League appearances for the club – his least tally for the club in a season since 2017-18 season.

And the sharp downturn in his fortunes came after he penned down a mega new contract that saw him become one of the club’s highest-paid players with £300,000 plus as weekly wage.

To fans and the club’s legends, Rashford didn’t give his best last season and wasn’t living up to the billing. He was constantly criticized by former United players and pundits like Roy Keane, Gary Neville, and Rio Ferdinand for his sub-par performances.

Now, according to UK outlet inews, Rashford feels he has been unfairly criticized and even ‘bullied’ by the club’s legends for even little mistakes like misplacing a pass.

It is not the first time Rashford has snap back on his critics. Midway into the last campaign, he thanked a fan on social media for joining force to call out unfair critics of his performances for Manchester United.

While the player has made his feelings known, it is understood he had a very unimpressive campaign with Manchester United.

His poor form led to his axing from Gareth Southgate England squad for the 2024 Euros. And that was the first time he was left out of the squad for struggling for form.

With the 2024-25 season underway, the forward will hope to reverse the misfortunes of last season and return to top-level performance for the club
