Dominik Szoboszlai scored the only goal as Liverpool beat Real Betis 1-0 in their preseason match, MySportDab reports.
The Premier League side claimed a narrow victory which ensured their preseason under their new coach was good.
They will go on looking to make more things happen before the season kickoff with so much expected to come.
First Half ReportÂ
The first 45 minutes was where all the action took place between both teams who had a lot to offer on their end.
Real Betis were no pushover as they did everything in their power to ensure that they produce something for themselves going forward.
It wasn’t an easy match as Liverpool also made their movement but couldn’t make anything from them despite all the opportunities.
Dominik Szoboszlai 34th minutes goal was the game changer which saw the Premier League side took the lead 1-0 with so much time left.
However nothing else was seen between both teams as they went in for the break with things staying 1-0 after 45 minutes.
Second Half ReportÂ
More action continued in the remaining half which was from one opportunities to another but nothing was working.
Real Betis continued to push in the match which was never for them to make something knowing they were up against a formidable side.
Liverpool were more relaxed as more players were brought in to ensure they get their game time and also more minutes on them in the preseason.
So much was left to be played between both teams as they did so much to get something which didn’t work out as they entered the 90 minutes mark.
It all came to an end which saw Liverpool taking a narrow 1-0 victory against Real Betis who didn’t give them an easy game despite it being a friendly encounter of 90 minutes played.
