Bayern Munich have submitted their first bid for a top Premier League midfielder as the club look set to build with new manager Vincent Kompany, MySportDab reports.

According to Sky Germany, some top first-team Bayern players are expected to leave this summer as Vincent Kompany sets out to rejig the squad for a fresh start.

Leading the list of names likely to depart the Bundesliga outfit, as reported, are Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich, Matthijs de Ligt, Serge Gnabry, Mazraoui, including Kingsley Coman.

With the imminent massive exodus, the club are expected to make a series of signings to beef up the squad after a disappointing 2023-24 campaign under former manager Thomas Tuchel.

According to The Mail, they have tabled a £30m offer to sign Portuguese midfield sensation and Fulham star Joao Paulinha.

The Bundesliga giants consider Paulinha a prime target to boast the club’s midfield next season. It is the second time they have tabled a bid for the player after making advances for the highly-rated playmaker last season.

Sources close to Fulham revealed the club turned down a £60m offer from the Bundesliga outfit last season as they valued the player at £75m. A £45m offer from Premier League and London rivals West Ham United was also rejected.

From the foregoing, it is unlikely Fulham will accept the Bavarians’ £30m offer for Paulinha with both parties expected to enter into negotiations to settle on an offer.

Paulinha has been crucial for the Cottagers since he signed with the club from Porto in 2022. He has tallied 79 appearances in all competitions, finding the back of the net 8 times.

He is reportedly open to a switch to the Bundesliga giants if Fulham reach an agreement with the suitors. Some reports claim the 28-year-old has agreed personal terms with the German giants with a four-year contract on the table.
