Diogo Dalot scored a brace as Portugal beat Czech Republic 4-0 in the UEFA Nations League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was all about the Portuguese doing the scoring of goals as they were no match for their opponent.
Czech Republic held on good in the first 45 minutes of the game which had them doing so much defending and also going forward which didn’t work out.
Diogo Dalot scored the opening goal for Portugal in the 33rd minutes of the game after a solid assist which came from Rafael Leao to make the scoreline 0-1.
The game continued with more opportunities recorded as they approached the final minutes left in the half which saw Bruno Fernandes scored in the 45th minute plus additional time to make it 0-2.
Patrik Schick missed a penalty in the late minutes of the game which could have gave his side a fighting chance of making something happen.
The first half came to an end with Portugal taking a 0-2 advantage into the break against Czech Republic after 45 minutes of football that was played between them.
Second Half Report
The second half was another 45 minutes of brilliant play coming from both Nations who had so much pace as they were playing to make something of the entire game.
Czech Republic fightback was very weak as nothing good could come out of it despite how hard to tried to make it happen as the game carried on forward.
Diogo Dalot made it his brace and a 3-0 scoreline in the 52nd minute of the encounter which was another brilliant one with the assist coming from Bruno Fernandes.
Diogo Jota made it 4-0 in the 82nd minute of the game with the help of Cristiano Ronaldo who provided the assist that lead to another goal in the match.
The match came to an end with Portugal claiming all three points after an amazing 4-0 victory against Czech Republic which puts them one game away from making the UEFA Nations League finals.
